Palm Sugar & Coconut Cream Agar-Agar..Agar2 Santan Gula Melaka
Salam..we meet again and..dessert time! Palm Sugar & Cococnut Cream Agar-Agar. And i'm using agar2 strips not powder. I followed the label direction and....!!!! i'm not satisfied with de 'looked'! What i want is half santan/coconut milk layer and half agar2 layer but it turned..full santan..with a little agar2 layer at the top..is it from the coconut cream maybe? or shud used thick coconut milk/santan pekat?? taste? delicious! Directions called for like..20g agar2 strips to 1 litre of liquid..i used 1300 litre of liquid coz i like mine a little 'wobbling' hehehe..........
20g agar2 strips - soaked in water just to softened
300ml coconut cream
1 litre water
350g palm sugar
5 pandan leaves
7 x 7 inch square pan
4 red wine glass
Soak in tap water like 5 to 10 minutes or..just to soften it..
Combine agar2 with 1 litre water, coconut cream, sugar and pandan leaves in a pot.
Bring to a boil and stir until the agar2 and sugar dissolved.
Pour in the mixture thru a sieve to a pan..to remove any undissolved agar2 and dirt from the palm sugar.
Let cool completely before chill in the refrigerator to set.
PS: what i did..pour in mixture in 4 red wine glasses and the balanced into a square pan..the one in the glass have a bit of agar2 layer..in the pan..'no hep le!'
And in the glass Hana said.." looked like tetek " oops! tak senser langsung..sorryyyy!
Combine all together..
..bring it to a boil and stir..
..pour into a pan..set aside to cool throughly before chilling in the refrigerator.
